If you are looking for a memorable fishing trip on Lake Ontario or one of the beautiful bays along its shore you’ve come to the right place. New York offers the most diverse fishery in the northeast with king salmon, cohos, lake trout, brown trout, steelhead and the occasional Atlantic salmon. Also, Eastern Lake Ontario is one of the best spots in the country for trophy walleye. Don’t forget about our great smallmouth fishing!
We compiled a list of some of the best Charter Captains in NY. If you are interested in a memorable fishing trip and want to sample the most diverse fishery in the northeast give one of these Captains a call. All of the charters services listed are fully insured and US Coast Guard Licensed.
All customers 16 years of age or older must have a valid NYS fishing license. Also, in most cases clients are asked to bring the following:
- Appropriate clothing
- Soft sole shoes-preferably white soles
- Food and drink
- Large cooler to take home your catch
- Motion sickness meds if necessary (prior to arrival)
- Camera
- Desire to catch fish
